Junior Residence – Partial Care Facility

The Partial Care Facility (PCF), also known as the Gem Juniors house provide for the physiological (shelter, safety, food, clothing) needs of our Gem Juniors. 

The Gem Juniors house serves an interim home-based care facility for the children who are placed with consent from the legal parent(s) or guardian(s) in the temporary care of the Gem Project. We also provide support to the family where we aim to strengthen and empower the family unit to assist in family integration and re-unification.

At the Gem Project we incorporate, adopt and deliver our services as per the Children’s Act. We offer our beneficiary children a family centered nurturing environment and offers a range of interventions which aims to meet the emotional, cognitive, sensory, spiritual, safety, physical, social, educational and overall welfare needs of the children.

The Gem Juniors house provides a conducive environment for stimulating emotional wellbeing and promoting healthy minds & bodies. This gives the children a sense of belonging and restores their self-esteem.
